Your data stays yours
A family's finances and documents are sensitive. This is how ClanPlan treats them.
A Vault only you can open
PAN, Aadhaar, bank and broker credentials and everything in For Your Eyes Only are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and shown only after you enter your own passcode. The Vault re-locks after 20 minutes idle, and it is kept free of AI.
We can't see your household's data
The administration tools have no screen that shows your net worth, assets, loans, holdings, budgets, resumes or private entries. Admins see only your sign-up details and simple counts of which modules are used.
Kept apart by design
Every module's data lives in its own separate database, and every request is scoped to your own household. There is no cross-household access.
Safer sign-in
Passwords are never stored in plain text. Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your email, and idle sessions end automatically after 45 minutes.
AI that sees only what it needs
When a feature uses AI, only the data that request needs is sent, and nothing is used to train third-party models on our behalf. Every recommendation shows its reasoning.
You stay in control
Clear the data in any module, or all of them, or delete your account, any time from Settings. We never sell your data, share it across households or use it for advertising. Only your sign-up and billing details and agreement to our terms are kept afterwards, for legal, taxation and audit purposes.

Is ClanPlan free?
Yes — every module is included at signup, no paid tier exists yet. Get started free above.
Do I need a trading account?
Only for Foresight's live portfolio tracking and trading — supported accounts are Zerodha, Upstox, Angel One, and Groww. Every other module — retirement planning, loans, budgeting, career search, the private vault — works with no broker connection at all.
How is my data protected?
Sensitive data (PAN, Aadhaar, bank/broker credentials, anything in For Your Eyes Only) is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and shown only after you enter your own Vault passcode. Every module's data lives in its own separate database. The administration tools have no screen that shows your data. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture, including how the encryption key is held.
Can my whole family use it?
That's the point — one household, one shared login setup, every family member with their own account inside it.
Does the AI make decisions for me?
No — every recommendation shows its reasoning and the numbers behind it. You decide whether to act on it, including whether to place any trade.
Can I delete my data?
Yes, from Settings → Your data: clear the data in any one module, or in all of them, and keep your account. Or delete your account entirely. We keep only your sign-up and billing details and your agreement to our terms, for legal, taxation and audit purposes. Individual entries can be deleted any time too.
